- Follow the instructions as described in IAM for IRIS: Help Page
The preferred method is signing in via eduGAIN.
Otherwise:
- Click Apply for an account
- Fill in and submit the form
- Check your e-mail for the confirmed registration at IRIS IAM
- Confirm your request by opening the URL you will find in the e-mail from IRIS IAM
- Your IRIS IAM account it now active and you are required to set a password
- You will then receive an email from Fairdata Forum confirming access to the forum
- https://fairdataforum.org can now be accessed with your new account details
When registering, if you receive the message below:
Invalid registration request: invalid username (does not match with regexp for UNIX usernames: '^[a-z_]([a-z0-9_-]{0,31}|[a-z0-9_-]{0,30}$)
Please ensure your username only uses lowercase letters (a-z), numbers (0-9) or underscores (_). All usernames must start with a letter and may not be longer than 31 characters.)`
